Motion Specialists International was established
in 2000 by individuals with experience and expertise in the power
transmission manufacturing, distribution and importing industries.
The primary objective of NIKO is to assist distributors with sourcing
and importing power transmission products.
As our relationships with factories developed, NIKO believed there
was a need to introduce the factories producing the products to
the distributors purchasing them. Our partner factories understood
the potential the US market possesses but had to overcome the
logistics of conducting business over such distances. Likewise,
our distributors understood the need to source products more competitively
but had to overcome obstacles themselves such as locating factories,
communicating with them, purchasing in volume, and payment terms.
It was this combination that persuaded NIKO to move towards factory
representation and away from the traditional “MIDDLE-MAN”
importing business.
NIKO has an innovative approach to the import PT market in that
we are working WITH the factories to establish name recognition
and integrity in the US market. By establishing exclusive marketing
rights with the factories we can build a lasting relationship
based on trust and cooperation. NIKO is working WITH distributors
to source the quality products from exceptional factories. Our
goal is to take the negative “import” stigma away
from the quality products our partner factories manufacture.
NIKO has offices in the US and China with employees specializing
in functions such as vendor development, quality assurance, sales,
marketing and engineering. By combining domestic expertise with
direct factory communication; NIKO is able to provide quality,
consistency and satisfaction to our distributors at competitive
prices.
